In particular, for free range and organic eggs, there are special outlets, which open at preset times, that allow the hens to go out, peck and scratch in external open spaces.
Hens lay the eggs in SPEROTTO automatic collective nests.
The eggs delicately roll out of the nest to settle on two polypropylene belts, especially perforated to guarantee cleanliness and ventilation.
Nests are closed simultaneously by a programmable motorised system to allow the farmer to control the egg-laying periods.
The special construction of the plastic slats allows the hen to make natural, stable movements. The channel frame is in hot-galvanised steel. A simple hook-on device speeds up the slats fitting and removal operations.
